Daniel M. Berger
Daniel was born in 1965 and is a Los Angeles native. He's been immersed in many aspects of the Film and Television Industry, both behind and in front of the camera for over 40 years. In the early 1970s, he appeared in numerous commercials. He graduated from Le Lycee Francais De Los Angeles in 1982 and attended Los Angeles City College and Colombia College of Broadcasting.
In 1980, he began to developed his Production Design skills at La Brea Studios in Hollywood. As Manager of La Brea Studios, Berger worked with the likes of Orson Welles, Elizabeth Taylor, Stu Hagmann, Ridley Scott, Tony Scott and Eddie Murphy.
From 1985-95, Berger directed, produced, and production designed numerous Commercials, Infomercials, Videos and Industrial Films for various production companies in Los Angeles, New York, and London. In 1993, he Associate Produced & Production Designed the short film "The Sex Police", a futuristic drama dealing with AIDS Directed by Ash Baron-Cohen starring Richard and Jamie Harris and Dr. Timothy Leary.
In 1995 Berger production designed Baron-Cohen's critically acclaimed debut feature “Bang”, starring Peter Greene and Spirit Award Nominee Darling Narita (Best Debut Performance 1998). In 1999 he designed "Pups" for Baron-Cohen which starred Mischa Barton and Burt Reynolds. Film received great acclaim across the globe in addition to several awards.
During the first decade of the new millennium, Berger designed the drama “This Girl's Life” 2003, starring James Woods, Rosario Dawson, Michael Rapport and Ioan Gruffudd, again directed by Baron-Cohen, Michael Stein's comedy/fantasy “Love Hollywood Style” 2006 starring Andy Dick, Faye Dunaway, Coolio and Stephen Tobolowsky and Joshua Newton's revenge thriller “Iron Cross” 2009 starring Roy Scheider, Scott Cohen and Helmut Berger.
More recently, Berger served as production designer on Joshua Cordes thriller “Chimera” 2015 for Executive Producers Greg Strause and Colin Strause/Hydraulx Entertainment, Sean McGinley's drama “Lawless Range” 2016, Sanjeev Sirpal's comedy “Random Tropical Paradise” 2017 and the L.A. Unit of Liam O'Donnell's Sci-Fi “Beyond Skyline” 2017.
Some of Berger's television credits include Lifetime Network’s “The Brittany Murphy Story” 2014, “Mothers Of The Bride” 2015 and “Naughty & Nice” 2014. Additionally he was Prop Master on CW's “13: Fear Is Real” 2009 and VH1's “Scream Queens” 2009. In 2016 he Production Designed Mars Callahan's series “Four Kings” starring Rob Iler, Mike Tyson, Kevin Pollak, Mekhi Phifer and Glenn Plummer. Other shows include Sandeep Parikh's comedies “The Real Housewives of Horror” 2013 and “That Moment When” 2017.
Recent Commercial credits include: Toyota, AT&T, Boost Mobile, BMW, Auto Trader, Sandisk, Sears, Ninetendo, Gamestop, Blackberry, Edward Jones, San Diego Zoo, Anthem, Ninja Brands, Veev Vodka, Copper Fit & Keranique.

Daniel M. Berger is a volunteer coach for Special Olympics Golf & AYSO VIP Soccer & Basketball and is an advocate for families of, and persons with Intellectual and Physical Disabilities. He also volunteers as an assistant for the Born to Act Players. A dramatic and performance group made up of actors with Intellectual and Physical Disabilities.
